NVIDIA/Mellanox MMS4A20-XM800 Compatible 800G DR4 InfiniBand XDR Optical Transceiver Module (OSFP224, Broadcom 3nm DSP | Sian3 BCM83628, 1310nm, 500m , Single MPO-12/APC, DOM, SMF, RHS/Flat Top)
NADDOD MMS4A20-XM800 riding heat sink optic is an 800Gb/s single-mode optical transceiver supporting the XDR 800Gb/s InfiniBand protocol. The line rate is 200Gb/s using Pulse Amplitude Modulation of 4- channels denoted as 200G-PAM4. It is used to link the Quantum-X800 QM3x00 switches using Twin-port OSFP224 2x800Gb/s transceivers to the dual 800Gb/s ConnectX-8 mezzanine card located internally in the GB200-based, liquid cooled system. The length of OSFP DR4 is up to 500 meters over SMF MTP/MPO-12 APC cable.
Leveraging the synergy between Broadcom's 3nm DSP and self-developed SiPh chip, the 800G transceiver delivers low latency, superior performance, and robust stability for 800G XDR interconnects. With 15W power consumption, 2E-11 BER, and 500m single-mode transmission reach, it ensures full-speed, reliable transmission even across long inter-rack distances or complex node layouts, thereby lowering power consumption and boosting overall cluster efficiency.
The 800G transceiver is compatible with DGX GB300, B200, HGX, and other mainstream high-density GPU servers, fully releasing the computing power of each GPU node and comprehensively boosting overall cluster performance. Ideal for AI, HPC, and large-scale inference tasks, it features high-speed, low-latency links that ensure seamless communication—activating maximum cluster throughput and resource utilization to deliver an efficient, reliable, and scalable computing infrastructure solution for customers.
