NADDOD NVIDIA/Mellanox compatible OSFP-1.6T-2FR4FH is a 1.6Tb/s twin-port OSFP optical transceiver, delivering 2 × 800Gb/s links over single-mode fiber (SMF) within up to 2 km. It is designed for next-generation 1.6T data center networks and InfiniBand fabrics. The 1.6T OSFP 2xFR4 module adopts a dual FR4 architecture (2 × FR4), providing 8 optical channels in total, with each port carrying 4 × 200G-PAM4 lanes. Optical signals are transmitted using CWDM4 serial multiplexing on the 1310 nm wavelength grid, enabling efficient high-density, long-reach transmission. For physical connectivity, the transceiver uses two LC duplex connectors, each operating over two single-mode fibers, supporting far-reach FR4 links while maintaining compact port density in OSFP form factors. The connector housing features a RHS / Flat Top design, enhancing thermal dissipation and ensuring optimal space compatibility in high-density switch deployments.

The OSFP-1.6T-2FR4FH integrates Silicon Photonics chips and the Broadcom 3nm Sian3 (BCM83628) DSP to deliver 1.6Tb/s optical performance with high signal integrity and energy efficiency. Designed for liquid-cooled 1.6T switch-to-switch interconnects, it supports scalable deployment of next-generation InfiniBand fabrics in AI and HPC data centers.
