Description

NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible ACC 2m (7ft) Twin-port 2x400Gb/s OSFP Finned Top to 4x200Gb/s QSFP112 Flat Top InfiniBand NDR Active Copper Splitter Cable

NADDOD O4Q112-800G-AC2H is an 800Gb/s Twin-port OSFP (Octal Small Form-factor Pluggable) to 4x200Gb/s QSFP112 (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable 112G) Active Copper Cable (ACC) quad breakout (aka splitter) cable for Infiniband NDR networking. The switch end OSFP has a finned top for additional cooling and the QSFP112 HCA end is flat topped and uses riding heat sinks on the HCA OSFP cage. The ACC contains eight high-speed electrical copper pairs, each operating at data rates of up to 100Gb/s using 100G-PAM4 modulation. The "active" term refers to the passive copper cable with an equalizer integrated circuit to extend the length to 4 and 5-meters.

Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
Q:
If I only use 3 out of 4 branches of the breakout cable and leave one branch unused, will it affect the other branches?
A:
No, it will not affect the other branches. After port configuration and splitting, each branch is recognized as a separate logical port within the device, and each operates independently.
Q:
We have some 800G OSFP port switches connected with original cables. Will there be any incompatibility issues if we use them with your cables?
A:
NADDOD cables comply with international standards and can be used as replacements for the original cables.
Q:
What is the difference between the O4Q112-800G-AC1H and O4Q112-800G-CU1H?
A:
The O4Q112-800G-CU1H (DAC) is a passive copper cable without active components, providing a direct electrical connection with a maximum transmission distance of 3m. In contrast, the O4Q112-800G-AC1H (ACC) features an integrated equalizer circuit, extending the transmission distance up to 5m while maintaining low latency and low power.
