The QSFP-100G-ERL4 supports link distances up to 40km when Forward Error Correction (FEC) is enabled on the host switch/router. In default no FEC mode, the QSFP-100G-ERL4 supports links up to 30km. The link requires at least 10dB attenuation to ensure that the receiver is not damaged.
