NADDOD NVIDIA/Mellanox MMA4Z00-NS400-T Compatible OSFP-400G-VR4 optical transceiver is a four-channel, parallel, pluggable fiber-optic OSFP with built-in Broadcom DSP and Broadcom VCSEL, designed for 400G Ethernet applications. It integrates four data lanes in each direction with 4x53.125GBd. The length of OSFP VR4 is up to 60 meters over OM3 MMF or 50 meters over OM4 MMF.

The 400G OSFP VR4 is intended for short-reach, high-bandwidth data communication and interconnect scenarios in modern data centers. It is commonly deployed on OSFP ports of NVIDIA ConnectX-7 adapters, with the opposite end connecting to OSFP-800G-2xSR4 optical modules on 800G OSFP switches. This configuration enables efficient 400G-to-800G interconnection, providing a practical and cost-effective solution for high-density server-to-switch and rack-level connectivity.
