Description

400G to 2×200G High-Performance Breakout DAC

NADDOD Q2Q56-400G-DAC is a high-performance direct-connect copper cable that supports the efficient splitting of a single QSFP-DD 400G port into two independent QSFP56 200G links. Designed for short-distance, high-bandwidth, low-latency data center interconnect scenarios, it complies with IEEE 802.3 and QSFP-DD/QSFP56 MSA specifications. Passive DAC cables offer the lowest-cost, lowest-latency, and near-zero-power high-speed connection currently available. Supporting hot-swapping and compatible with mainstream device platforms, it can connect multiple DGX Spark nodes to a 400G switch, thereby building a compact desktop-level AI cluster.

It is widely used in high-density, short-distance interconnect environments such as high-performance computing, AI and RoCE networks, and cloud data center ToR/Leaf architectures, and provides a flexible and scalable physical layer foundation for smooth upgrades to future 400G networks.

Applications

Product Highlights

Unique advantages of NADDOD direct attach copper

DAC is suitable for short links, with the advantages of low cost, low power consumption, interchangeability, etc. It is an ideal solution for short distance transmission between data center racks, and can effectively save costs compared to the combination form of modules plus patch cords. NADDOD high-speed cables are widely used in SATA storage devices, RADI system scenarios, core routers, 10G or 40G Ethernet and other data center interconnection scenarios, and the high-speed cables will pass several professional tests before leaving the factory and gradually become the preferred supplier for users with high quality service.

Six professional transceiver performance tests

NADDOD has a full range of professional testing equipments for testing various parameters of products to ensure high performance and quality of optical transmission stability.

Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
Q:
Can we use the Q2Q56-400G-DAC cable to connect a 400G QSFP-DD switch with 2 DGX Spark nodes?
A:
Yes. The 400G-to-2×200G DAC allows precise connection between the 400G switch ports and DGX Spark 200G nodes. It ensures RoCE operates without congestion, maximizes port utilization, and helps reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
Q:
What features must the switch support to use this cable?
A:
The switch must provide QSFP-DD 400G ports and support 200G link rates on the downstream ports.
Q:
How far can the QSFP-DD 400G-2x200G DAC transmit?
A:
This cable can transmit up to 3m.
