NADDOD OSFP-800G-CUAF is a 2x400Gb/s twin-port OSFP (Octal Small Formfactor Pluggable) Flat Top to 2x400Gb/s twin-port OSFP Flat Top Direct Attached Copper cable (DAC). DAC cables are the lowest-cost, lowest-latency, near zero power consuming, high-speed links available due to their simplicity of design and minimal components. Using the Octal Small Formfactor Plug (OSFP) and containing eight high-speed electrical copper pairs, each operating at data rates of up to 100Gb/s. NADDOD’s cable solutions provide power-efficient connectivity enabling higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at a low cost and reduced power requirement in the data centers.

What is the difference between OSFP-800G-DAC and OSFP-800G-DACF?
A:
The OSFP-800G-DAC features a finned top cover and is intended for use on the switch side. The OSFP-800G-DACF has a flat top cover and is primarily used on the CX8 network adapters side or DGX H100 servers. You can select the appropriate option based on your equipment.
Q:
We currently use original cables to connect NVIDIA DGX H100 GPUs. If we switch to your cables, will there be compatibility issues?
A:
All cables from NADDOD have been tested on NVIDIA original equipment. Compatibility is not a concern.
Q:
Are the application scenarios for OSFP-800G-ACCF and OSFP-800G-DACF identical? What are the differences?
A:
Yes, both cables feature a flat-top design for use with DGX H100. The OSFP-800G-DACF is a passive copper cable with connectors containing no active components, providing direct electrical connection between corresponding cable ends with a maximum transmission distance of 3m. The ACC version incorporates pre-emphasis equalizer ICs at both ends, extending the cable length to 5m.
