NVIDIA/Mellanox MCP7Y10-N001 Compatible 1m (3ft) Twin-port 2x400Gb/s OSFP to 2x400Gb/s QSFP112 Passive Copper Splitter Cable

NADDOD O2Q112-800G-CU1 is an 800Gb/s Twin-port OSFP (Octal Small Form-factor Pluggable) to 2x400Gb/s QSFP112 (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable 112G) passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) dual breakout (aka splitter) cable for 400Gb/s End-to-End Ethernet solutions. The 8-channel Twin port OSFP end uses a finned top form-factor for use in OSFP switch cages. The two 400G ends support 4-channels of 100G-PAM4 (400G) and use a flat top QSFP112 for use in ConnectX-7 adapters and BlueField-3 DPUs using riding heat sinks on the connector cage. DAC cables are the lowest-cost, lowest-latency, near zero power consuming high-speed links available due to their simplicity of design and minimal components.

Q:
I only use branch 1 for a two-part cable. Branch 2 is not installed to the bandwidth. Will it affect the use of branch 1 cable?
A:
No, it won't affect.. After the port is configured with a split port, it is recognized as two logical split ports inside the device. Each branch line corresponds to a logical split port and doesn’t affect each other.
Q:
Why are there no 800G AOCs?
A:
OSFP is very large and heavy, and the fiber can break easily. A two-branch cable will have 3 large transceiver ends, and a four-branch cable will have 5 transceivers. This will almost certainly easily lead to fiber breakage during installation - especially for a 30m long AOC.
Q:
We have some 800G OSFP port switches connected with original cables, will there be any incompatibility issues if we use them with your cables?
A:
NADDOD cables comply with international standards and have good interoperability ,compatibility. It can be used with original cables.
