RoCE: Simplifying Performance Complexity
What is RoCE?
RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) is a network protocol that leverages Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) capabilities to accelerate communications between applications hosted on clusters of servers and storage arrays.
Currently, multiple leading AI model training enterprises have opted for RoCE networks as the technological roadmap for high-performance data center networks, and they are conducting application testing accordingly. RoCE networks are poised to fully unleash the potential of all-flash storage, enabling comprehensive utilization in various applications.
  •   High-Performance Data Transfer
  •   Reduced CPU Load
  •   Improved Data Center Efficiency
  •   Simplified Network Architecture
  •   Accelerated Storage Access
The Complexity of an Open Network Ecosystem
The RoCE solution faces challenges in switch selection, port encapsulation, and server network card diversity. For instance, when connecting a Cisco 400G QSFP-DD switch with an NVIDIA ConnectX-7 QSFP112 network card, there are interconnection issues due to different encapsulation types.
NADDOD addresses this by offering optical connectors with multiple encapsulation options, providing customers with a comprehensive connectivity solution that overcomes these interconnection challenges and ensures smooth system operation.
What NADDOD offers for HPC/AI Workloads?
  • Optical Transceivers
NADDOD offers a wide range of optical module products with various packaging types, including OSFP, QSFP-DD, QSFP56, QSFP28, and more. These diverse packaging options enable us to fully meet the needs and requirements of various applications.
  • AOC/DAC Cables
NADDOD's AOC/DAC Cables offer customized services to meet the specific needs of customers. We can flexibly customize the cable length, connector type, and module packaging at both ends of the cable according to customer requirements.
