The Q112-400G-FR4 transceiver, duplex LC connector, has a transmission distance of up to 2 km over parallel single-mode fiber. It complies with the QSFP112 MSA, CMIS 5.0 interface, and 400GAUI-4 standards. Built-in digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) allows access to real-time operating parameters. It is suitable for 400G Ethernet, AI Data Center (AIDC) and Data Center Network (DCN) applications.

Yes, all these modules can be used in both AIDC and DCN scenarios in theory. The actual deployment depends on the device-side port type. For DCN-focused deployments, the QSFP-DD series is generally more commonly used.

Can the QSFP112 400G FR4 module be used on an OSFP port?
A:
OSFP and QSFP112 are two completely different form factors, and the QSFP112 cannot be used on an OSFP port.

What are the similarities and differences between Q112-400G-FR4 and QDD-400G-FR4?
A:
The main difference lies in the packaging. QSFP-DD uses 8x50G/lane, while QSFP112 uses 4x100G/lane. Both have 4x100G PAM4 modulation on the optical side, and when paired with single-mode duplex LC jumpers, can achieve a transmission distance of up to 2km.
