NADDOD NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible OSFP-800G-2xLR4 optical transceiver is designed for 800GBASE-2×LR4 Ethernet interconnects, supporting long-reach 800G transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF). The module operates via dual LC duplex connectors and performs 8-channel 106.25Gb/s electrical-to-optical conversion on the transmitter side and 8-channel 106.25Gb/s optical-to-electrical conversion on the receiver side, enabling an aggregate data rate of 800Gb/s over a serial LR4 optical interface, it is compatible with NVIDIA SN5610 Series switch.
By combining dual-channel LR4 architecture with robust environmental tolerance to temperature, humidity, and EMI, the OSFP-800G-2xLR4 enables stable 10 km optical links for 800G Ethernet deployments, making it a cost-effective solution for distributed data center and metro-scale network interconnects.

Fiber link loss must remain within the module’s link budget. Excessive loss or fiber end-face contamination can cause failures even at 10km. To ensure reliable performance, conduct OTDR testing for link budget validation, and use G.652D or better fiber at 800G to control dispersion and maintain signal integrity with low BER.
