NADDOD Mellanox MMS1V00-WM compatible 400G QSFP-DD DR4 optical module adopts a 1310 nm EML transmitter and PAM4 pulse amplitude modulation. It supports transmission distances of up to 500 m over OS2 single-mode fiber and features an MTP/MPO-12 connector. The module is compliant with the QSFP-DD MSA, IEEE 802.3bs, and 400GBASE-DR4 standards, ensuring broad interoperability.
The 400G QSFP-DD DR4 module is designed for 400G Ethernet data communications. It is typically used to interconnect NVIDIA ConnectX-7 OSFP-packaged 400G NICs with 400G QSFP-DD switches and can also be used as a 4×100G breakout to QSFP-DR 100G. Its combination of low latency and high bandwidth makes it ideal for AI and HPC data center interconnects, cloud networking, and other high-performance computing applications.
Leveraging Marvell DSP and advanced PAM4 signal processing, 400G QDD DR4 delivers high bandwidth, low bit error rate, and low power consumption, ensuring high-speed and stable data transmission. With flexible link configurations, it can interconnect with 100G QSFP28 DR and 800G OSFP DR8, enabling to achieve 100G-400G and 400G-800G network upgrades seamlessly.
400G QDD DR4 delivers up to 500m transmission distance, supporting cross-cabinet and cross-floor connectivity for AIDC (AI Data Center) /DCN (Data Center Network) horizontal expansion.
