We offer Mellanox MC2207130-005 Compatible 5m (16ft) 56GBase-CU QSFP+ to QSFP+ Passive Copper Cable, which are high performance, economical I/O solutions for LAN, HPC, and SAN. The high speed wire assemblies perform and reliably satisfy 56 Gigabit Ethernet and temperature criteria. The cables offer communication between devices employing QSFP ports and adhere to SFF-8432 requirements. The DAC complies with IEEE802.3cd and SFF-8432 standards. Available in various wire gauge options from 30 to 24 AWG, and various cable length options up to 7m.

My equipment model is Mellanox SX6025 36x QSFP+ FDR, considering the current demand for higher data throughput. Within the budget, I want to update the design of the whole group network. Can you help me to recommend the right product?

Based on your equipment information, we recommend updating your entire 56G FDR solution with a combination of NADDOD 200G HDR products, NVIDIA Quantum QM8700/QM8790 switches and HDR NICs. The 200G HDR can not only adapt to HDR 200G and HDR 100, but also to 100G EDR, breaking the limitations of 100G EDR usage and meeting different rate requirements. Choosing 200G HDR also provides high throughput bandwidth and ultra-low network transmission latency that Ethernet cannot match. From a cost perspective, the price difference between 200G HDR AOC and EDR AOC is not significant. Compared to other architectures of the same type, HDR devices have a high port density, which not only saves a lot of upfront equipment costs but also reduces post-operations and maintenance costs.

Whether the InfiniBand cables MC2207130-005 can be used on Ethernet switches?
